Dr. Hassan’s Hospital & Diagnostics Centre is a 65 bed multispecialty facility, provides comprehensive primary, secondary and tertiary care with up to date facility held to the highest standards of healthcare. Our vision is to create a patient centric tertiary healthcare organization focused on non-intrusive quality care utilizing leading-edge technology with a human touch.
We have distinguished doctor of national and international acclaim, who besides providing excellence in patient care also have a strong background in academics, research and training.
The nursing staff, along with the paramedical and other support staff, is highly trained and has tremendous skills, presence of mind, compassion, and commitment. Their performance is constantly reviewed and refined in order to enhance the quality of tertiary care services provided by them.
Our laboratory services are among the best in the country, approved by national and international medical organizations, furnished with state of art equipment and very experienced members of staff. The director of laboratory services Dr. G. C. Okara is also the Chairman Steering Board of the West African Post Graduate College of Medical Laboratory Sciences and immediate past National President of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria.

Our healthcare division started it’s operations in 2005, as an integrated healthcare delivery outfit. Situated in the city of Abuja, Nigeria, it is committed to providing the best possible options for diagnosis of disease and team management of patient care. Dr. Hassan’s Hospital & Diagnostic Centre was founded in 2005 by a visionary medical practitioner from India, Dr. Shabihul Hassan. We gave all the the medical departments running and have very good doctors drawn across India, Nigeria and many other countries, it is a blend of different nationalities.
We have started doing Laser surgery for hemorrhoids, which even is no done in many places in India. It is a very advanced surgery. We do the surgery here; there will be no bleeding, no pain. In two hours after the surgery, you could go home. This type of surgery used to be one of the messiest surgeries, a surgery that patients were afraid to do. People preferred living with hemorrhoids all their lives, just because there is so much bleeding, so much pain. You stay in the hospital for many days; sometimes weeks. But now we do this surgery here in less than 30 minutes, using laser surgery. After the operation, the patient just stays for two or three hours and goes home; no pain, no bleeding. This is an example.
We are setting up our molecular diagnostic laboratory, which probably will be the first of its kind in Nigeria. We will do advanced DNA testing. Many of the diseases for which people travel outside Nigeria for treatment can be well treated within the country. It is just a question of the people having confidence in the system.

The Hospital has well equipped ICUs, Operation Theater and Trauma Centre and Inpatient facility with state of the art infrastructure. The department of Obstetrics & Gynecology provides comprehensive care to its patients. This includes complete ante-natal care, delivery both normal and caesarean and post-natal care. The department of Pediatrics provides comprehensive care to the new-born in its Special Baby Care Unit.
Laboratory Services provided is in accordance with that of a Multi-Specialty referral lab. We have Fully Automated Computerized Machines which run more than 400tests/hr. The lab is run by a team of Doctors and experienced staff in both Corporate and Government Hospital setups while having handled more than 2,000 samples a day.
